Detail analysis of indie magazine

Having looked at a more indie magazine, they had more of the conventions that I want to include when making my magazine cover. It was more genre specific and the cover lines, pictures etc where all consumed with horror topics.

Therefore my research has allowed me to look at both mainstream and indie magazine. At first I wanted to do a mainstream magazine magazine, but when I was doing my research no horror films came up on the front cover which made me realise I should look into more indie low budget magazines and see if it would be more appropriate for my idea and my research has made me change my mine.
